Conditions of Hire

All plant and equipment is offered under ‘General Conditions for the Hiring of Plant’ which are based on the contractors Plant Association form of contract, copies of which are available on request.

The Hirer is responsible for all fuels and oils for plant supplied without an operator.

Sharpening or breakages of all points, chisels, saw-blades and ancillary items are chargeable. The cost of damage, punctures, and missing items will be debited to the Hirer's account.

The Hirer is responsible for all insurance and shall indemnify Martello Plant Hire Ltd against all or any claims for loss, damage, costs and charges in connection therewith including the damage to underground services.

A cleaning charge may be made where considered appropriate.

Rates subject to change. (Note: long term Hires subject to negotiations)

Transport will be charged and VAT extra at appropriate rates.

CPA model conditions apply on all Hires.

A minimum charge of £5.00 will apply.

All charges subject to VAT at appropriate rate.
